The available cohorts run from October 2025 through September 2026. ## What this shows The [HPD source](https://data.cityofnewyork.us/d/wvxf-dwi5) groups distinct violation identifiers by class and current recorded status. The month filters the source approval date. It does not filter the date of repair or the latest status change. HPD defines class A as non-hazardous, B as hazardous, C as immediately hazardous, and I as information orders. The result keeps those meanings beside each class. Groups of at least five records show the latest recorded status date when supplied. Retrieval time appears separately. The source updates daily. Each monthly cohort uses a daily cache because its recorded statuses can change after the approval month. Counts below five and their latest status dates are withheld. No grand total is returned. ## Limits An open source record does not prove that a physical condition remains uncorrected. A closed record is an agency status, not a new inspection of the building by this tool. The counts describe violations, not distinct buildings, tenants, or complaints. No addresses, apartment fields, tenant names, complaint text, or building identifiers appear. This tool does not score tenants or support screening, renewal, eviction, credit, or insurance decisions. It does not rank buildings or neighborhoods by desirability. No work order, entry, certification, or spending follows automatically. Unknown source classes or statuses fail closed.
