This page lists what scalewithsearch.com collects, why, and who else handles it. Updated November 5, 2026. ## No ads, no selling, no ad trackers. The site shows no advertising. I do not sell or rent your information. The site loads no third-party advertising trackers. ## The brief form. The brief form on [/work](/work#send-your-brief) asks for your name, your email, and three answers about the job. Two more questions are optional: how you found the site, and what you asked an AI assistant. When you send it, the site emails one copy to you and one copy to me through Resend, my email provider. The site does not save the brief in a database. My copy also lists where your visit started, from the first-visit cookie below. Your copy does not. Hidden fields catch spam bots. They hold empty trap fields and the time you started the form. ## The email list. The signup on the home page asks only for your email. The site adds it to my contact list at Resend. To leave the list, email me. ## The contact form at /connect. The /connect page asks for your name and a phone number or an email. When you send it, the site emails them to me through Resend, with a contact card attached. The site does not save them in a database. ## The free AI check. The check on [/check](/check) asks for a website address. The real estate version also asks for a brokerage name, an agent name, and a state. The server reads that site's public home page, its robots.txt and llms.txt files, and the first contact or booking page the home page links to. It identifies itself as ScaleWithSearch-AICheck. The checker does not save the address you enter or the results. To stop abuse, the check counts attempts by IP address, up to ten in each ten-minute window. Each count is stored with your IP address and set to expire after 11 minutes. ## What your browser stores. - sws-analytics-consent (browser storage). Your Clarity choice: "granted" or "denied". - sws-theme (browser storage). Your theme: dark, light, or ultradark. - sws-view-mode and sws_view_mode (browser storage, and a cookie that lasts one year). Whether you chose the human view or the machine view. - sws_first_touch (a cookie that lasts 24 hours). The first-visit cookie. The site sets it when you arrive from a search engine, an AI assistant, a link with campaign tags, or one of my /from/ profile links. It holds the domain of the site that sent you, your first page, the campaign tags, and the time. If you send a brief within 24 hours of the first-visit cookie, my copy of the brief includes it. To change your Clarity choice, use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. ## Microsoft Clarity. Clarity loads only after you choose Allow. If you choose Decline, or make no choice, it does not load. Clarity records clicks, scrolling, and other page interactions. It masks the text you type in form fields by default. After you allow it, Clarity sets its own cookies. Microsoft processes this data under the [Microsoft privacy statement](https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement). ## Hosting. Cloudflare hosts the site and runs its forms and the AI check. Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details with each request, and keeps its own request logs. The site also counts page views and sent briefs. Each count holds the kind of site that sent you, such as search or AI, that site's domain when it is a known one, your first page, and the current page. Pages in a collection, such as articles, count as one group. A count holds no IP address, email, or form text. ## Ask me about your data.
