Your finished website or content result and its source evidence define the job. Choose one result with a visible finish line and material you already hold. 02 ## Build the source record. Your source record holds facts, decisions, examples, standards, and corrections with a named owner and stated purpose. Unrelated clients and excluded material stay outside the set. Retrieval reaches only what the assigned result needs. 03 ## Write the task brief. Name the allowed sources, prohibited actions, output, acceptance checks, approval rule, and stopping point. 04 ## Run a dry test. A non-production run shows whether the AI agent read the assigned sources, held the boundary, produced the required format, and stopped where required. If the run cannot show those four facts, the path is not ready for live work. 05 ## Review and approve. The named approver checks the result against the written scope. Access does not grant permission to act. 06 ## Write the receipt. Record the task, source set, result, test status, failure, no-work state, and open questions. 07 ## Save the correction and hand off. Each line carries its source and the date it was last verified. When a decision changes, this file changes, and the next run reads the change. task-brief.md The task brief One bounded job: the result to produce, the files it may read, the data and actions it may not touch, the required format, and the checks a finished result must pass. A prompt asks for an answer. This names governed work. install-plan.md The runbook and its receipts How to run the path, review the draft, record a correction, and stop. It also names the receipt each run must leave: the task, the source set, the result, the test or action status, and any open question. A run with no work leaves a no-work record rather than silence. handoff.md The acceptance list The checks that decide whether the outcome is accepted, plus the approval rule for every action that leaves your machine. Sends, publishing, purchases, destructive changes, activation, and live account changes wait for the named approver. File names follow the delivery, not a fixed template. A receipt records what a run did. It does not certify that the answer was right. ## Replacement remains a test, not a promise. A new model or harness can read the same buyer-owned record after its own compatibility and safety checks. The files make replacement possible without rebuilding the business context from scratch.
