Configure these example jobs with limited permissions and staff approval. Test limits and check drafts. Use current approved files for the draft. Name its reviewer. Intake staff re-explain each case before every draft. A smarter prompt does not fix that. The assistant needs a maintained source record and a job brief. The brief defines permitted inputs, prepared outputs, and stopping rules. An assistant can organize a call note. It can draft a client update from the matter file. It can also prepare an adjuster update for attorney review. It does not give legal advice, establish representation, interpret coverage, calculate damages. It does not speak for the firm without approval. ## Three jobs an injury law agent can prepare from source records ### 1. Prepare an intake summary from the call note The agent reads `intake/calls/2026-08-18-0915-PROSPECT.md` and `rules/intake-summary.md`. It writes `intake/pending/2026-08-18-0915-summary.md` with contact details, incident date as stated, location as stated, parties named by the caller, reported injuries, known treatment, insurance information if volunteered, existing counsel status, documents mentioned, and unanswered screening questions. It does not decide whether the firm will accept the matter, state a deadline, evaluate fault, estimate value, advise the caller, or send a representation agreement. The attorney reviews the exact recipient, attachments, material claims, and final text. ## What the firm keeps The firm keeps the intake notes, matter-status file, deadline record, communication log, source documents.
