It writes `intake/pending/2026-08-18-1430-summary.md` with contact details, matter type as stated, opposing or involved names supplied, county and court if known, case number if provided, next date as stated by the caller, existing counsel status, custody or release status as applicable, documents mentioned, and unanswered screening questions. It does not run a conflict decision, say the firm will take the case, state what the caller should do, calculate time, assess exposure, or send an agreement. Draft a client-status update from the matter file The agent reads `matters/FD-228/matter-status.md`, `matters/FD-228/deadlines.md`, and `rules/client-updates.md`. It writes `drafts/FD-228-client-update.md` with the last recorded filing or event, documents requested from the client, discovery status as recorded, the next docketed or attorney-approved event, questions for the client, and the responsible reviewer.
