Give both builders the same material. Ask each builder to organize those pages around the visitor's task. Have a seller find your service explanation and contact route. Have a buyer find your local information and ask a question. Treat property search as a separate requirement if you need it. Lengthen a seller-service answer, replace an image, and inspect the inquiry button on a phone. Ask the builder to show how to correct an unwanted change. Record which tasks you can complete and which need paid help. Consider Wix when its demonstrated workflow meets your editing needs. Consider Squarespace when its demonstrated workflow does. A preferred template still needs to pass the proposed edits. ## Where will seller and buyer inquiries arrive? Wix Forms uses Wix Automations for submission emails and supports configurable notification recipients, including additional email addresses. Squarespace form blocks connect to one email address per form. That destination initially uses the account email of the owner or contributor who added the form. Accept each route after the intended recipient receives the information and can respond. ## Does your IDX provider support the proposed setup? Wix Editor can embed a code snippet or external URL. Its documentation identifies HTTPS requirements, external embedding restrictions, and limits on Wix support for third-party code. Squarespace offers code injection on Core, Plus, Advanced, and some legacy billing plans. Its support team does not troubleshoot custom code. If the provider cannot confirm the arrangement, leave IDX support unresolved before choosing. Keep feed installation and approvals in the integration scope. ## Which will be faster on your actual pages? Request comparable measurements before choosing on speed. Google's PageSpeed Insights reports mobile and desktop performance using lab and field data. Field data availability depends on whether the page or origin has enough qualifying samples. Wix says the content you create belongs to you, while its working websites must run on Wix servers. You can manage the domain through another provider. Choose Squarespace's export option only if its actual inclusions meet your needs.
