Inspect mobile layouts and names inside graphics. ## Separate license-number display from advertising identification The statute permits prominent office display of the broker and salesperson licenses, or the “licensee's name and license number listed on the broker's website”. It does not establish a license-number requirement on every personal website page or online ad. Confirm with your broker which display method the brokerage uses. When a license is released, suspended, revoked, or canceled, the designated broker must “remove the licensee's name and licensee's number from the broker's website”. [N.D. Admin. Read 2026.10.22. ## Keep team branding within the brokerage A team combines at least two licensees under one brokerage and designated broker. The designated broker must supervise teams, maintain a “written policy” describing team relationships, and keep a “chronological written record” of teams and membership. [N.D. Admin. The reviewed provision specifies supervision, without a written-approval form for each edit. Before publishing, confirm with your broker. ## Identify the agent and brokerage in social posts The Commission puts both names “in the initial post”. Brokerage contact information may appear in the post or “within one click”. Check an advertising post as a visitor would see it outside your profile. ## Check IDX permission and feed disclosures separately Internet Data Exchange (IDX) does not establish permission to offer a property. The license law identifies offering property without the owner's or authorized agent's “knowledge and consent” as grounds for discipline. Read 2026.10.22. **UNRESOLVED: a statewide IDX attribution or disclaimer template.** The reviewed state sources do not supply one. For your feed's required wording and placement, confirm with your broker. Advertising must remain “free from deception”. [N.D. Admin. Read 2026.10.22. ## Review housing language and confirm any logo requirement North Dakota prohibits dwelling-sale or rental advertising that indicates “any preference, limitation, or discrimination” based on protected characteristics. These include race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, familial status, national origin, and status concerning marriage or public assistance. Test the brokerage contact method from a visitor's view. 4. Confirm the brokerage's office-display or broker-website license-number method. 5. Check team wording, membership records, and the broker's advertising process. 6. Inspect social-post identification and the contact link. 7. Confirm property-display permission and the feed's IDX disclosures. 8. Review housing language and confirm any required logo or statement.
