The brokerage name must be prominent. Your license number must be conspicuous. Team branding and social posts have additional requirements described below. Confirm with your broker. The statutory requirement is to “include his or her license number” and disclose the applicable brokerage. A salesperson or broker-salesperson identifies the associated brokerage. A broker identifies the brokerage under which the broker does business. [NRS 645.315(1), checked 2026.10.22](https://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-645.html#NRS645Sec315). Checked 2026.10.22. ## Treat your website and online ads as advertising The Commission's advertising definition expressly includes “social media” and the Internet. Websites, paid online ads, and promotional social content belong in the advertising review. Checked 2026.10.22. ## Make the brokerage name prominent The brokerage must be “clearly identified with prominence”. The Division evaluates font style, size, color, and placement. The rule supplies no universal header or footer location. Check the actual display, including mobile views. For franchise advertising, the broker must conspicuously identify the licensed business name and acknowledge that each office is “independently owned and operated”. Checked 2026.10.22. ## Display a readable license number The number must appear “in a conspicuous way”. Leading zeros and letters after the period following the number are optional. Leading zeros and suffixes such as INDV or LLC may be omitted. Its instruction is to “include your license designation”. It specifies no fixed font, size, or location. An extensive search to find the number fails its visibility standard. Keep the designation attached to the number supplied by your broker. A team logo does not replace that disclosure. ## Check all five conditions for a team or group name NAC 645.611 permits team or group advertising only when all five conditions are met. These conditions also appear in the current codified rule. ## Follow the broker's advertising review process Salespersons and broker-salespersons cannot advertise licensed services solely under their own names. Their advertising operates under the brokerage's “direct supervision” and in its name. [NRS 645.315(2), checked 2026.10.22](https://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-645.html#NRS645Sec315). Checked 2026.10.22. Confirm your broker's approval process before publishing or changing website pages and ads. The quoted statute establishes supervision. It does not prescribe a universal written approval form for every website change. ## Keep brokerage disclosure on real-estate social posts The Division says the brokerage name must appear “in each post related to real estate”. Its guidance permits the license number on the main social page, including its name or About section. Brokerage disclosure still applies to the posts. Before relying on profile placement for an ad format, confirm with your broker. Check how the post appears when viewed outside your profile. ## Verify listing permission before displaying IDX property data For Internet Data Exchange (IDX) property pages, check Nevada's “prior written consent” requirement before advertising another broker's exclusive listing. Checked 2026.10.22. **UNRESOLVED: exact IDX disclaimer wording and placement for your feed.** The reviewed state sources establish advertising duties and listing permission. They do not establish one statewide IDX disclaimer template. Confirm the applicable feed disclosures and permission arrangement with your broker before displaying listings. Advertising also cannot be “false or misleading”. Apply that rule to listing content and service claims. Checked 2026.10.22. ## Check fair-housing content and any required logo or statement Nevada prohibits dwelling advertisements indicating “any preference, limitation or discrimination” based on protected characteristics. These include race, religious creed, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, familial status, and sex. Checked 2026.10.22. **UNRESOLVED: a logo or statement requirement for your specific site or property.** The reviewed provisions do not establish a blanket Nevada agent-website logo mandate. Confirm with your broker whether your advertising requires an Equal Housing Opportunity logo or statement. Record the governing source and required placement. A logo does not resolve discriminatory wording. Review the property descriptions and audience language themselves. ## A short website checklist Use this checklist with your broker. Keep the page address beside each correction. 1. Verify the brokerage name on each advertising page and ad. 2. Check prominence on desktop and mobile displays. 3. Verify your license designation and number against the broker's records. 4. Check every team-name condition in the table. 5. Confirm the broker's approval process before publication. 6. Check brokerage disclosure on social posts and license-number visibility on the main page. 7. Confirm listing permission and the exact IDX disclosure requirements. 8. Review housing language and confirm any required logo or statement.
