# Webflow pricing for real estate websites: Site plans, Workspaces, and seats

Choose the Site plan for the website you need to publish. Choose Workspace features and seats for the people who must maintain it. Ask the builder to identify each charge separately before you buy.

The recommendations below turn Webflow's plan structure into a purchasing brief for a real estate agent website. Vendor prices are a dated snapshot. Recheck the required configuration before payment.

## What is the difference between a Site plan and a Workspace plan?

A Site plan applies to an individual website; a Workspace plan governs the working environment around websites. Webflow identifies custom-domain publishing as a paid Site-plan capability and enhanced collaboration as a Workspace upgrade. [Webflow plan overview](https://help.webflow.com/hc/en-us/articles/33961379128723-Webflow-Workspace-and-Site-plans-overview).

Ask the builder to label the hosting arrangement and working environment separately. A proposal called only “Webflow subscription” leaves the purchase unclear.

## Does a real estate agent need a paid Workspace?

A paid Workspace is not automatically required to publish a paid website. Webflow permits paid Site plans in a Starter Workspace. [Workspace and Site-plan relationship](https://help.webflow.com/hc/en-us/articles/33961379128723-Webflow-Workspace-and-Site-plans-overview).

List the editing and collaboration tasks you need. Require the builder to demonstrate the proposed access before treating a Workspace upgrade as necessary.

## What does Webflow currently charge for the relevant Site plans?

Webflow lists Basic at $15 per month and Premium at $25 per month, billed yearly, in USD per site, plus applicable taxes. Basic targets sites without a CMS; Premium includes CMS capabilities. These are the public figures checked on 2026.10.22. [Webflow pricing, checked 2026.10.22](https://webflow.com/pricing).

Use the annual billing terms when comparing a proposal. Do not interpret the monthly equivalent as a monthly payment schedule.

## Which Site plan fits a biography and service website?

Start with the simplest plan that demonstrates the required pages and inquiry route. Ask whether the proposed biography, service descriptions, and contact page need structured content management.

Bring the page list into the quote. Request an explanation for every paid feature that the builder includes. Keep a future wish list separate from the website you are commissioning.

## When should a real estate website use a CMS?

Consider a CMS when recurring content needs shared fields and templates. A growing guide library may need a repeatable review date, source field, and related-page selection.

Ask the builder to add and correct a sample guide with your intended login. Judge the proposed publishing work from that demonstration. The label “content library” alone does not specify its editing requirements.

## What does a Workspace subscription cost?

Webflow's freelancer and agency Workspace pricing lists Freelancer at $16 per month and Agency at $35 per month, billed yearly. These are Workspace prices, separate from the Site-plan figures above. [Workspace pricing, checked 2026.10.22](https://webflow.com/pricing).

Ask whether the proposed Workspace belongs to you or the builder. Request a written reason if the proposal passes a builder's shared working costs through to you.

## Is a seat the same purchase as a Workspace plan?

Treat seat access as a separate quote question. Webflow's overview says additional seats can be purchased without upgrading the Starter Workspace. [Webflow seat and Workspace distinction](https://help.webflow.com/hc/en-us/articles/33961379128723-Webflow-Workspace-and-Site-plans-overview).

Have the builder identify the role, payer, and permitted tasks for every person who needs access. Leave the exact seat cost open until the selected configuration is confirmed.

## Should a builder need the same access as a content editor?

Specify different permissions for different jobs. A person correcting service copy may not need the authority to change layouts, billing, or integrations.

Request an access table with the person, intended job, proposed role, and publishing rights. Test those jobs through the actual role. A demonstration from the builder's owner login does not establish your access.

## Who should own the Workspace containing the website?

Prefer an arrangement you can explain and recover. Record who controls the Workspace, the site, the domain registration, and the billing account.

If the builder hosts the project in its Workspace, request written transfer terms before work starts. Ask what happens to editing, subscriptions, and connected services when the engagement ends.

## What should client billing identify?

Client billing should identify who pays each vendor and what the builder invoices separately. Require an invoice map for Site hosting, Workspace access where applicable, seats, and outside services.

Avoid accepting an unexplained combined platform charge. Ask which subscriptions continue if the builder stops providing maintenance. Keep the answer with your website handoff documents.

## Does a Webflow subscription include the domain registration?

Do not assume domain registration is included in the website proposal. Ask the builder to identify the registrar, account holder, renewal payer, and connection work.

Keep domain access in an account you control. Distinguish connecting a domain from transferring its registration. Require a recovery contact that remains available after the builder leaves.

## Does buying a CMS plan resolve IDX compatibility?

Keep IDX compatibility as an explicit, unresolved requirement until the provider confirms the proposed integration. A plan name does not demonstrate listing search, approvals, or property-specific inquiry delivery.

Ask the builder for the integration method and the provider's confirmation. Put external subscriptions and approval dependencies beside that line in the quote.

## How should form delivery affect the purchase?

Require a received test inquiry before accepting the finished website. Specify the form fields, destination, visitor confirmation, and person responsible for delivery faults.

Test a seller request and a buyer question separately. Inspect the messages received at the agreed destination. A visible success notice on the page is only part of that check.

## Which optional features belong outside the base quote?

Separate optional analytics, language variants, experimentation, and other enhancements from required publishing work. Ask what each option does for your stated result.

Record whether an option is a subscription, usage charge, or builder service. Defer any item whose purpose remains unclear. Request a revised total when an option becomes part of the agreed scope.

## How should usage limits be reviewed?

Review the limits against your planned content and measured use. Ask the builder to identify which limits could trigger an upgrade or extra charge.

Record where usage is checked, who receives alerts, and who may authorize a change. Avoid buying a larger tier solely because a proposal predicts unspecified growth.

## Can a paid Site plan export the whole working website?

Code export is a separate capability with limits. Webflow requires a paid Workspace for code export and excludes working CMS functionality and form processing from the exported package. [Webflow code export requirements and exclusions](https://help.webflow.com/hc/en-us/articles/33961386739347-How-do-I-export-my-Webflow-site-code).

Request a sample export and a replacement-provider assessment. Have that assessment identify the content and functions requiring reconstruction.

## What should a handoff demonstration include?

Require the tasks you expect to perform after delivery. Correct biography copy, replace an approved portrait, preview the page, and publish using your own access.

Ask the builder to document any task that needs specialist help. Save the instructions beside the account map. Agree future support terms before treating the handoff as complete.

## What happens if you stop paying the builder?

The effect depends on account ownership and the agreed service terms. Request a written explanation covering vendor subscriptions, access, source materials, maintenance, and transfer assistance.

Keep platform cancellation separate from ending builder support. Ask which account needs action and which person can take it. Do not cancel a live subscription as an informal handoff test.

## How should renewal costs be compared?

Compare the same billing period and scope. Record the current charge, renewal terms, taxes, optional services, and maintenance work for each proposal.

Leave introductory offers and future renewal figures unresolved until the vendor or builder supplies them. Keep the dated quote with the accepted page list so later additions have a visible starting point.

## What belongs in a Webflow quote worksheet?

Use a worksheet that makes each responsibility visible. These are proposed purchasing fields, rather than a vendor bundle.

| Item | Record before purchase |
| --- | --- |
| Site plan | Required website features, billing term, payer, renewal owner |
| Workspace | Account owner, reason for tier, transfer arrangement |
| Access | Person, role, permitted changes, publishing rights |
| Outside services | Domain, IDX, inquiry destination, separate subscriptions |
| Builder work | Page list, handoff tasks, maintenance, exit assistance |

Ask the builder to resolve blank entries before you accept the quote.

## How do you know the proposed arrangement works?

Accept demonstrated tasks against the written scope. Inspect editing access, public pages, received inquiries, account ownership, and the agreed exit materials.

Record failures as open defects with an assigned owner. Repeat the relevant check after repair. Pricing accuracy alone does not prove that your proposed website operates as required.

## What should you bring into a website brief?

Bring your page list, current Webflow arrangement, intended editors, inquiry destinations, and any IDX requirements. Include the quote worksheet and the handoff demonstration you expect.

Use the [real estate website brief](/work) to describe the result you need. Confirm platform choice and continuing charges in the written scope.
