Webflow supports custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript embeds. iHomefinder explicitly lists Webflow among its supported website platforms. Neither statement confirms your MLS approval or the proposed configuration. Require a demonstration from property search to a received buyer question. Test the seller-service form separately. The integration brief and acceptance checks below are editorial recommendations. Use them with your chosen vendor and website builder. ## Choose the search route before placing code Separate the location of the search interface from the destination of a listing click. Ask the builder to record both addresses. iHomefinder describes embedded IDX for Webflow without requiring an iframe or subdomain. Its quick-start guide supplies a setup route for Squarespace and other websites. Keep a seller-service contact option available outside buyer registration. ## Confirm MLS approval and public-display requirements iHomefinder says its approval process varies by MLS. Some locations require agent action or broker approval. IDX Broker warns that account access for integration can precede completed MLS approval. Confirm the applicable rules with your MLS and IDX vendor. Request the approved domain, allowed inventory, required attribution, and any outstanding approval step. Attach the response to the website brief. Keep a preview demonstration separate from permission to launch public search. ## Put each snippet in the correct Webflow location Webflow makes Code Embed available with an active Site plan or a Core, Growth, Agency, or Freelancer Workspace. The element supports browser code, but cannot run server-side PHP, Python, Perl, or Ruby. Have the builder confirm your actual access before changing plans. Request the vendor's current instructions for your configuration. Keep private credentials out of public page code. Ask the vendor to identify which snippet belongs in each location. Record the page, placement, purpose, and person responsible for restoring it. Have the developer check for duplicate installation. Avoid guessing where an initialization script belongs. For iHomefinder's other-website route, its guide locates the Widget Builder under Setup > Website > Widgets. Treat a widget as one part of the agreed integration. Ask the provider to confirm the complete search-page setup before accepting the handoff. ## Diagnose the domain and published page before replacing the integration iHomefinder says the configured base URL must exactly match the page-script location, including HTTP or HTTPS. If that is your provider, have the developer compare the configured URL with the intended public address. Ask how the test domain is authorized. Resolve that question before treating a blank staging page as an integration failure. Webflow shows a placeholder for script embeds in the Designer. Script behavior can appear in preview, while public changes require publishing. Webflow also excludes custom-code troubleshooting from its support scope. Keep the approved URLs, code locations, provider confirmation, support owner, and inquiry receipts in the handoff.
