Keep dispatch availability separate from yard access. Use those facts to prepare corrections before adding another listing. Google tells businesses that do not serve customers at their address to remove that address from their profile. A hybrid business can show its customer-facing location and a service area. It does not establish that your towing business qualifies for a particular profile configuration. ## Separate the yard, office, and dispatch line Write a short description of each actual location. State whether customers can visit, what they can do there, and when staff receive them. Keep a storage yard's release arrangements distinct from roadside dispatch. Then compare that description with the public profile and your website. If dispatch takes calls overnight while the office opens later, explain both services accurately. Avoid using one hours label to imply every function remains available. Google's hours guidance includes exceptions for some businesses, including transportation services and appointment-only operations. Check which rule applies before choosing profile hours. For contact details, Google allows a location-specific phone number or website. Any listed number must remain under the business's direct control. Record a separate owner for office access information. ## Describe coverage with places you can serve Use an approved coverage list rather than copying every nearby town into the profile. For each place, document the work your office accepts there. Flag exceptions for review before publishing them. Google uses cities, postal codes, or other named areas for service areas. Your website can explain coverage limits more fully. Have dispatch supply the distinction between routine service, requests requiring confirmation, and work outside your operation. Publish only the categories your business supports. Review the premises and staffing before asking someone to create a profile there. Google's main guidelines allow service businesses with different locations, separate staff, and separate service areas to have a profile for each location. Keep a proposed new location unresolved until you can document the relevant facts. Give your profile manager the existing listing links first. Ask them to identify the exact policy supporting any additional listing. ## Make the website agree with dispatch Open the profile's website destination and compare its service area, hours, phone, and business identity with the approved worksheet. Request a correction when the page describes an old operation. On the website, explain how someone requests a tow. Reserve arrival times, acceptance, and final charges for dispatch confirmation. Do not label a website request as an assigned truck. Arrange a labeled test with the office. Check the visible number, phone-link destination, and answering route. Record the observed result and time. This is a proposed acceptance check, not evidence that your current calls arrive correctly. ## Judge corrections separately from rankings Google describes local ranking through relevance, distance, and prominence. Accept a correction against the facts you requested: correct identity, location treatment, coverage, hours, and contact destination. Keep any later search observation separate.
