Confirm that the assignment is open before investigating markup. Keep four questions separate: can the page be accessed, does it describe the actual role, is the markup appropriate, and can a candidate apply? ## Identify the page for one actual opening Ask the assignment owner for the public job reference and approved current description. Open the exact destination linked from the agency's job index. Google permits `JobPosting` markup only on a page containing a single job posting. Its troubleshooting guidance excludes search-result pages from that treatment. Check that the title, location, description, employer treatment, and application reference match the approved public record.
