Separate a wrong destination, an account requirement, a rejected reference, and an unavailable provider. Ask the operations owner to confirm which tracking system the customer should use. Keep the repair focused on that approved path. Avoid moving the button to an unfamiliar service found through search. ## Record the first failed step Start from the public website page the customer uses. Record the button label, its destination, and the result. Check the phone navigation and footer if they contain additional tracking links. Keep real shipment details and customer account information out of public screenshots and the website brief. ## Match the label to the tracking workflow If the destination requires a customer account, say so near the link in approved wording. Distinguish account access from a public reference lookup. If several systems apply to different services, help the visitor choose the correct one. Use the service names operations approves. Keep an internal reference distinct from a carrier reference when the business uses both. Ask the system owner for the permitted link format before passing a reference through an address. Require an explicit test of that behavior. Describe the intended task beside each contact option. Do not ask visitors to post shipment references in public comments. Use the company's approved private support channel for operational details. ## Accept the repaired path with operations Repeat the original failure in the preview using approved test data.
