Name the intended Search Console property, agency account, purpose, required permissions, and removal process. Do not ask the customer to send a password. Google recommends granting only read access to Search Console at the audit stage. Confirm the exact customer, property, and agency account through your agreed communication channel before any access change. ## Define the task before choosing a permission Write down what the initial review requires. Separate reading performance data from implementation, account administration, and site verification. Identify any task that needs a later permission decision. Google documents owner, full-user, and restricted-user roles. Owners have broad control, full users can view data and take some actions, and restricted users have simple view rights on most data.
