Link the exact issuer record. Obtain permission for the artwork you intend to display. RealTrends separates agent, team, and brokerage rankings, with results organized by production measures. Give the reader a contact action with a named recipient. Use the checks below as a website brief. They do not establish that a badge increases inquiries. This article is not legal advice. ## Verify the result before choosing the headline Find your record through RealTrends itself. Check the spelling and subject against the person, team, or brokerage your page represents. Do not approve a claim from a cropped graphic alone. RealTrends' submission guidance separates individual agents from teams and prohibits using the same production for both submissions. It also separates team and brokerage submissions. Prepare this proposed record before sending copy to your builder: | Field | Evidence to retain | Website wording to check | | --- | --- | --- | | Ranked subject | Exact issuer name and profile address | The claim belongs to this individual, team, or brokerage. | | Edition | Ranking year shown by the issuer | Historical recognition keeps its original year. | | Production period | Issuer explanation of the reporting period | A production year is labeled separately from the ranking edition. | | Category | Exact agent or team classification | A team result remains attributed to the team. | | Geography | National, state, or city list and its stated scope | The claim retains that geographic limit. | | Metric and position | Volume or sides list, with position if supplied | The claim names the measured basis and matches the listed position. | | Publication check | Date, source record, and approved wording | The editor can reproduce the claim from its source. | Keep an unconfirmed field on hold. Ask the issuer to resolve a missing reporting period or conflicting record. Save the explanation with your approval notes. Keep private production documents out of the public website brief. ## Distinguish eligibility from an issued ranking RealTrends' current submission page lists different production thresholds for national/state and city programs. For individual agents, national/state eligibility is twenty-five sides or ten million dollars in volume. City eligibility is fifteen sides or six million dollars. The issuer's FAQ says national/state inclusion depends on submitting production and verification information, with a ranking cutoff. Meeting a minimum alone does not establish inclusion. Do not rewrite a volume result as proof of customer satisfaction, or a city result as a national position. Give service quality its own supported explanation. Keep the ranking year visible when a later edition arrives. Check the new record before changing the year or using language that implies current recognition. If the issuer corrects or removes a result, hold the affected claim until the discrepancy is resolved. ## Obtain badge permission separately from ranking evidence RealTrends' general terms protect its logos, graphics, and other content. They restrict reuse and require express written permission for uses beyond the stated personal-use allowance. A public ranking record does not establish a website badge license. Record the authorized subject, edition, permitted placement, required attribution, and any alteration or expiration conditions. Give the builder the actual instructions. Do not create a replacement badge or assume another agent's download grants you permission. A public badge-specific license was not established from the pages checked for this article. Keep artwork out of the approved build until you obtain the applicable permission. Review an accurately attributed text description and source link separately with your broker. Keep other marks in their own approval records. NAR identifies REALTOR® as a membership mark, and its guidance directs members to its trademark rules and official logo resources. Its rules also address required broker identification, team names, and claims implying transaction involvement where none existed. Have your broker review the ranking sentence, explanation of its criteria, and surrounding page together. Keep the Texas example within Texas. Confirm with your broker which state commission rules govern your site. Before adding sold-property examples, confirm who may advertise the sale, whether its sold price may appear, and the required team or brokerage names. Obtain the applicable commission source and check MLS and client permissions separately. If client praise appears beside the award, review that material independently. The FTC's Endorsement Guides require honest endorsements and address disclosure of unexpected material connections. A ranking does not substantiate a testimonial's result claim.
