Treat deletion as a separate decision with its own authorization. Ask Placester to confirm how its documented workflow applies to your account before the scheduled change. ## Establish which account and website are involved Write down the agent's public profile, personal website, and the brokerage account that currently includes them. Name the authorized account owner and the person handling the departure. Confirm the subscription's supported controls. Identify the person who can answer an access question without including their credentials. ## Resolve website continuity before deactivation Ask who created the website and when. Placester describes different outcomes for an agent who brought an existing site and an agent whose site began after joining. Before the change, agree which approved materials can be retained, who controls the domain, and who will maintain any replacement site. Ask the account owner to authorize the intended action by name. A request to remove someone from a public roster should not silently expand into permanent account deletion. Before either action, ask the provider what happens to the records your brokerage needs to retain. Follow links from office pages, featured-person cards, and any recruiting page that used the profile. If the approved plan redirects an old address, check its destination and visible wording. Avoid presenting a different person as the agent the visitor selected. Submit a labeled test only with the receiving person's agreement. Inspect the received name, source page, question, and reply details. Confirm that the public acknowledgment describes the actual recipient.
