Approve the office facts first. Then check whether a visitor can find the intended office and contact it. Placester's current Site Edit guide separates stored office records from their presentation on an index and individual office pages. Ask the provider to identify the editing experience before following account-specific instructions. ## Approve the office record Prepare the office name, address, public email, phone, and participating agents. Have the brokerage confirm that each fact belongs on the public page. Placester's office-record guide describes creating an office and assigning agents in Agent Manager. Checked: 2026.10.23. Your account entitlement remains UNRESOLVED until confirmed. Avoid creating a second office record when the repair concerns only an existing page's display. Keep office membership separate from general service-area descriptions. Ask the brokerage which relationship the website should display. ## Create or repair the office index In Site Edit, Placester documents `Add New > Office Index`. Check for an existing index before adding another. Agree on one intended destination and a menu label visitors can recognize. List the offices that should appear. Choose an ordering rule and check later pages when the complete list exceeds the visible set. Ask the provider to show the approved membership and order in the public index. Keep a missing office separate from a broken menu link in the repair list. ## Check each office page's settings Placester says the office name comes from its office records and cannot be renamed within Site Edit. Its guide also identifies page status and signed-in-only access as controls affecting visibility. If the page's name is wrong, identify the underlying record requiring correction. If visitors cannot open it, ask the provider to inspect the actual page state and access setting. Have the administrator explain which changes affect public information immediately and which await a site release. Do not assume a saved record proves a visitor can see the intended page. ## Specify the listing display separately The office-page guide includes an office-listings switch and office information fields, including MLS identity. Ask the brokerage to identify known listings expected on that page. Have the provider explain the account's selection before changing it. For a missing property, record the page, listing identifier, expected office, and observed result. Keep feed authorization questions with the MLS and vendor. Avoid presenting the office's featured inventory as the entire searchable market.
