They may be saving favorites, sending a selection for editing, or approving finished images. Give each supported action its own clear status. Prepare the page from the studio's actual proofing process. Keep image identity, collection version, client instructions, and the receiving studio contact connected throughout the handoff. This brief covers selection and approval communication. Confirm the gallery's access requirements separately with the person responsible for client delivery. ## Decide what a selection means Ask the studio to describe the decision the client is making at each stage. Separate a private working choice from a selection submitted to staff. Keep final-image approval distinct from a request for further editing. If the package limits selections, use the studio's approved rule. Define what happens when the client chooses more or fewer images. Avoid having the developer invent a package allowance to simplify the interface. Agree what the client can change after submission. Keep a proposed revision separate from the version the studio has already received. ## Give every choice a stable image reference Prepare a collection map identifying each photograph and its proof version. Ask the developer which reference the client sees and which one the studio receives. Require a reliable match between them. Keep a revised edit identifiable when the studio replaces a proof. Avoid making an older approval appear to cover a newly changed image without another review. Use button wording that matches the supported action. For example, propose separate save and submit wording when those are different steps. Require the receiving studio record to preserve the correct references and state. Check the behavior after an interrupted submission and a return visit.
