Have the responsible attorney review the output before a builder implements the interface. Do not start with an attractive estimated recovery and work backward to a formula. Keep unsupported values and assumptions out of the public tool. ## Name the result being offered Ask whether the proposed output is a simple arithmetic total, an illustrative scenario, or a claim about an individual case. Write that distinction into the review brief. Have the attorney decide what the firm can responsibly publish. A label describing an estimate does not establish that the estimate has a defensible basis. ABA's Rule 7.1 commentary addresses statements that create unsupported conclusions about legal services or unjustified expectations about results. It also discusses qualifying language. These are model materials; the firm's attorney must apply the relevant jurisdiction's rules. Do not substitute a common multiplier, remembered average, or competitor's result for a supported method. If the firm cannot support a case-value result, propose an educational explanation or contact route instead. Do not publish a numeric output solely because the tool can calculate one. ## Inspect the whole visitor experience Ask the attorney to review the page title, input prompts, result display, qualification, and contact action together. Include the empty state and incomplete-input state. Keep any approved explanation close to the result during later visual acceptance. Check screenshots and downloadable outputs too. A result shared outside the page should not silently lose material context. Do not imply that entering information creates representation or that staff have reviewed the visitor's situation. Obtain the firm's approved wording for the actual next step. ## Review the information boundary Ask whether calculations remain in the visitor's session or are transmitted. Require the maintainer to identify actual storage, notifications, analytics, and provider access. Have the firm approve collection and handling separately from the formula. Keep medical records and detailed injury narratives outside a calculator brief unless a reviewed process requires them. ## Define acceptance before commissioning the tool Require the attorney-approved examples and expected outputs to be recorded before implementation. Have the builder demonstrate the calculation and boundary cases in an agreed test environment using synthetic values. Keep mathematical agreement separate from legal or predictive validity. Passing an arithmetic check does not establish that an output represents a real claim's value.
