Write down where staff meet customers, who represents the business, and which hours apply. Google requires eligible businesses to make in-person contact with customers during their stated hours. The word “managed” does not resolve eligibility. Review how your business operates. Keep an unresolved arrangement open for clarification before commissioning profile work. ## Describe what happens in person Prepare a short factual note for the person managing the profile. State whether customers visit your premises, your technicians visit customer sites, or all service is remote. Name who can confirm that information. Separate your registered mailing address from the address customers use. Record meeting arrangements in ordinary language. Do not turn a mailing service into a public IT support office. If you deliver remote services only, use the online-only exclusion above when reviewing your plan. If you deliver on-site services, ask the manager to check the applicable location and service-area rules. Do not invent a staffed customer office to make the application look local. If a former employee created a profile, resolve access through the available ownership process. Keep that account task separate from changing website copy. ## Make the website explain the same business Review the homepage, contact page, footer, and service descriptions. Compare them with the confirmed operating arrangement. Ask the owner to approve corrections before publication. For an on-site service, describe the area your team has approved to serve. For remote work, state the actual delivery arrangement. Avoid pages that imply walk-in service where none exists. Keep help-desk hours and sales response hours separately labeled when they differ. A prospective buyer should be able to identify the team and request a discussion without receiving a false emergency-support promise. Use a business contact destination your team monitors. Keep private client support instructions in the agreed support process. ## Assess local visibility without promising a position Google describes local results through relevance, distance, and popularity. Ask a proposed provider to name the profile work it will perform. Separate that work from a promised map position. Record who approves business details and who resolves rejected edits. Use observations with dates and context. A single search result is an observation from that search. Keep it separate from website visits, sales inquiries, and signed work. ## Verify the public destination after approved work After the authorized manager completes a change, open the public profile link. Compare the displayed business and website destination with the approved worksheet. Record any pending or inconsistent detail. Then open the website link on a phone. Check that the service and contact information match the actual business. Arrange a labeled prospect inquiry with the receiving owner and inspect what arrives. Keep profile eligibility, public details, website usability, and inquiry receipt as separate checks. A completed website repair does not settle an eligibility question.
