Keep it separate from the form a practice uses to ask about your services. Verify the destination before adding the link to your main navigation. Treat the public entry page, the portal login, and the records behind it as separate parts of the brief. Name who owns each part. ## Confirm the destination with the system owner Ask the authorized portal administrator for the current public login address and support instructions. Compare the supplied destination with the client process your account team uses. Record the portal provider, destination, intended audience, account-recovery route, and responsible contact. Resolve multiple portals explicitly.
