Settle what the price buys, how renewal works, and how a member can end the arrangement before designing the offer. Keep membership administration separate from treatment suitability. A membership benefit should not become an unreviewed promise that every member can receive a particular service. ## Get the commercial decisions in writing Ask the owner to supply the current terms and identify the person responsible for updating them. Have the practice's legal reviewer approve the public explanation and enrollment process under applicable requirements. Keep missing decisions UNRESOLVED internally. Do not borrow another practice's cancellation language. ## Review the complete offer FTC's advertising guidance explains that an omitted fact can mislead when it matters to a consumer's decision. It evaluates the context of words and images, including implied claims. Have the owner and legal reviewer inspect the membership headline, price, qualifications, and enrollment action together. Ask whether a visitor can understand the recurring commitment from the actual presentation. Do not manufacture a savings figure from incomplete prices. If a comparison is proposed, obtain the current basis and approved calculation. Leave unsupported value claims out of the draft. ## Keep benefits distinct from care decisions Have the clinical reviewer approve service descriptions and any eligibility language. Explain the assessment step using the practice's actual process. Avoid an unrestricted-treatment promise when the approved program has limits. Give staff a current source for administrative membership questions without asking them to make clinical recommendations. Keep the general promotion page separate if it has different terms.
