Ask for a proposal that identifies useful questions, approved answers, and the website work being delivered. As of this source check, the old feature is retired. The value of a question-and-answer page needs to stand on what it helps visitors understand. ## Check the current platform record Google's May 2026 documentation log says FAQ rich results would stop appearing from May 7, 2026. Its June entry records removal of the feature's documentation because the result was no longer shown. If a proposal relies on the older rule restricting eligibility to certain government and health sites, ask the provider to update it. Being a health-related business does not restore a feature that Google has retired. Ask the provider to identify the exact search presentation it is promising and the current supporting documentation. Leave an unsupported inclusion or visibility claim out of the scope. ## Decide which questions deserve an answer Start with questions the practice can answer from approved records. Separate administrative information from clinical assessment. Use this proposed selection sheet: | Question type | Proposed review owner | | --- | --- | | Location and contact hours | Office manager using current office facts | | Requesting a consultation | Staff responsible for the actual request process | | Promotion or membership | Owner using the approved terms | | Provider role | Practice reviewer using verified current credentials | | Treatment benefit or risk | Authorized clinical reviewer with supporting evidence | | Personal suitability | Route to the practice's individual clinical assessment | Do not turn a general FAQ into a tool that decides candidacy. Avoid supplying universal recovery times or guaranteed results to fill an otherwise short section. ## Keep answers with the service they explain Propose a short FAQ on the relevant service page when those questions belong there. Use a separate page only when its audience and purpose warrant one. Have the reviewer inspect each answer with nearby headings, images, and booking labels. Keep the approved limitations available alongside the answer during later visual acceptance. If several pages repeat the same changing offer term, name one controlled source and identify every public placement. Update those placements together when the approved term changes. ## Review markup without paying for an obsolete outcome Ask the maintainer what structured data the current page contains and why. Evaluate any proposed change against its actual purpose and current documentation. Do not request blind removal of all question-related markup because one search feature ended. Have the maintainer identify other uses or dependencies before changing it. Separate a technically implemented markup change from a search-result promise. Define the accepted deliverable as the approved content, supported page behavior, and agreed checks. ## Maintain the answers after publication Name an owner for every changeable answer. Keep its source, checked date, and approved public text together. Reopen review after a service, provider, office, or offer changes.
