Start with a plain description of the main activity. Have the authorized profile manager check the categories available in the actual profile. Keep a category review separate from a promise of local ranking. This article inspects no shop or profile and supplies no guaranteed category choice. ## Describe the business before opening the selector Ask the owner to approve one sentence naming the primary business. Then list additional activities with their importance and current website descriptions. Keep planned services and outside suppliers separate. Google says categories should represent the core business, use as few categories as possible, and be specific. It says categories should not be used solely as keywords. Do not add every material, process, or buyer industry as though each were a business category. ## Prepare evidence for the authorized manager Give the manager the public profile address and approved business description. Ask them to inspect the live category choices before proposing any edit. Retain the current selection and proposed change in the review record. Do not instruct a writer to invent a category name that sounds suitable. Leave account access and edits with the authorized manager. ## Compare the website with the same operating facts Open the homepage, capabilities page, equipment page, and contact page. Ask whether they describe the same business the manager is selecting. Correct unsupported wording through the website's review process. Avoid rewriting the shop as a broad industrial supplier because a wider category sounds attractive. Use actual work and approved descriptions. Give buyers a route to request estimating review instead of implying that every listed process guarantees acceptance. ## Review business identity and contact information alongside categories Google requires the business to be represented accurately. Have the owner confirm the public business name, customer contact arrangement, and website destination. Keep customer visits and production hours accurately labeled according to approved business facts. Do not invent a walk-in arrangement to strengthen the listing. If eligibility or address handling is unclear, record that as a separate question for the manager. A category selection does not resolve those questions. ## Verify the result of any approved change After the authorized manager completes an edit, inspect the public record separately. Record what is visible and what remains pending. Do not describe a submitted edit as an accepted public change. Follow the website link as a prospective buyer. Confirm that it opens the intended shop and provides the current capability explanation. Check the quote route in the agreed test environment with invented details. Retain category observations separately from inquiries and quoted work.
