# Luxury Presence alternatives: compare the replacement before switching

Compare Luxury Presence alternatives by the functions you need to replace. Consider Sierra Interactive when evaluating a combined website and CRM. Consider AgentFire when evaluating a website connected to separate tools. Request a commissioned website scope when your requirement concerns the site itself.

Sierra describes an integrated IDX website and CRM. AgentFire describes website add-ons and connections to outside CRM and advertising services. These are their published product descriptions, checked for this guide. [Sierra Interactive's platform](https://www.sierrainteractive.com/), [AgentFire's open system](https://agentfire.com/open/).

Choose the route after documenting your current pages, inquiry destinations, tools, costs, and exit requirements. Use the worksheet below to compare written proposals. Ask each provider to demonstrate the functions your business would rely on.

## Establish what the replacement must cover

Luxury Presence's plans page describes a website with MLS integration and IDX search, Presence CRM, client collaboration tools, hosting, and maintenance. It also describes plan differences and optional additions. Use the current page as a starting inventory. Confirm your own purchased configuration separately. [Luxury Presence's plan descriptions](https://www.luxurypresence.com/plans-and-pricing/).

Inspect what you use today. List the public website, property search, inquiry forms, contact database, alerts, editing tools, and services you pay someone to perform. Mark each item as required, optional, or unused for your proposed replacement.

Write the reason for considering a change beside that inventory. Make it specific: a page you cannot edit, an inquiry route needing repair, or a handoff requirement. Record the current behavior and the behavior you want demonstrated.

Ask the current provider whether the agreed repair is available within your existing arrangement. Compare that answer with the proposed replacement. Keep the decision open until you can inspect both scopes and their costs.

## Compare a shortlist against the same requirement

Use the following routes to prepare a shortlist. The questions are proposed buying checks. They establish no provider score or expected business result.

| Route to investigate | Published basis or proposed scope | Evidence to request |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sierra Interactive | Its site describes IDX websites and CRM in one platform. [Product source](https://www.sierrainteractive.com/) | Your required search, contact import, inquiry assignment, editing, and export demonstrated under the proposed plan |
| AgentFire | Its open-system page describes website add-ons and outside CRM and advertising connections. [Product source](https://agentfire.com/open/) | The exact connection to your chosen CRM, included services, ongoing charges, and handoff limitations |
| Commissioned website | Specify your pages, approved content, contact destinations, editing access, and files in a written brief | A proposal that names each deliverable, dependency, maintenance responsibility, and acceptance check |

For Sierra, ask how your required records would enter the proposed CRM. Request an agreed sample import before committing to a full migration. Check the fields and relationships your team needs to preserve. Resolve any missing data in the proposal.

For AgentFire, name your existing CRM and the information you expect each form to send. Ask for the exact supported connection. Have the provider show the receiving record. Keep an advertised integration separate from a demonstrated path for your setup.

For a commissioned website, identify who builds and maintains each required function. Include property search only after its requirements are documented. Ask for an example of the proposed editing and file handoff. Keep unverified capabilities out of the accepted scope.

## Compare the costs of the work you would buy

Request quotes for the same required functions. Give each provider the inventory and identify the items you intend to keep elsewhere. Ask for setup, recurring services, outside subscriptions, and migration work to appear separately.

Choose a comparison period before calculating totals. Include the charges due during that period and record their billing conditions. Keep an unanswered cost marked as unknown. Avoid filling a missing quote with a number from another customer's arrangement.

Use a cost sheet with these fields:

| Cost field | Question for the written proposal |
| --- | --- |
| Initial work | Which design, copy, configuration, and transfer tasks are included? |
| Recurring service | What is billed, at what interval, and for which functions? |
| Existing tools | Which current subscriptions remain necessary? |
| Optional work | Which services can be omitted from this scope? |
| Contract | What commitment, renewal, and cancellation terms apply? |
| Transition | What export, replacement, and overlapping service costs need approval? |

Ask for the quoted plan and relevant agreement together. Identify the charge that resolves your stated requirement. If a proposal includes work you have not requested, decide whether to include it before comparing totals.

Keep the cost sheet attached to the function inventory. Recheck both when a provider changes the package. A proposal missing a required function needs a corrected scope before you can assess its price.

## Require a demonstrated handoff

Ask who controls the domain account, who can edit content, and what you receive when the service ends. Request the export format, included material, excluded software, and transfer procedure in writing. Have the provider show an example you can inspect.

WordPress documents an XML content export containing posts, pages, custom post types, comments, custom fields, taxonomy information, and users. Its export instructions describe importing that data into another WordPress site. [WordPress's export documentation](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/tools-export-screen/).

When evaluating a WordPress proposal, ask separately for the runnable website, images, theme, plugins, settings, and licenses you would need. Require the builder to identify how those items are supplied. Avoid treating a content-export demonstration as acceptance of the entire handoff.

Use that same inspection method for any proposed platform. Ask which received files you can reuse and where the website can operate. Leave unresolved portability questions visible in the comparison sheet.

If moving contact records, define the permitted records and required fields before requesting a sample. Check what can be transferred under your agreement. Keep private client records out of a public website brief.

## Set property-search and inquiry requirements separately

Write down the property-search behavior you want to preserve. Identify the MLS, intended geographic coverage, current provider, and available documentation. Ask the replacement provider to confirm support and the approvals needed for your proposed configuration.

Request a demonstration using the proposed search setup. Inspect the property details, filters, display states, and route to contact your business. Document unavailable features and ask whether they affect the agreed scope.

Prepare a separate inquiry check for each form. Identify the receiving person or team, destination, required information, and acknowledgment. Arrange a permitted sample using details you control.

Review the visible submission result and the matching received record. Check the reply route too. Keep a failure open until someone can reproduce the agreed delivery. Record what the sample establishes without turning it into a forecast of inquiries or appointments.

## Plan existing URLs before scheduling the move

List the pages you intend to retain, change, combine, or retire. Include biography, seller-service, local-guide, property, and contact destinations where applicable. Save the approved content and files needed for the replacement.

Google recommends mapping old URLs to their new destinations when addresses change. Its migration guidance recommends server-side permanent redirects where possible and updating internal links. Include those tasks in the proposal when your move changes URLs. [Google's site-move guidance](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/site-move-with-url-changes).

For your acceptance check, ask the developer to demonstrate the agreed destination for each retained page. Open the important links from your current materials. Confirm who can repair a missing destination during the transition.

Google says rankings can fluctuate while it recrawls and reindexes a changed site. Preserve your available search baseline and note the migration date. Keep a promise of unchanged rankings out of the acceptance criteria. [Google's migration considerations](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/site-move-with-url-changes).

Agree on the cutover sequence, required checks, and responsible people before scheduling cancellation of the current service. Resolve the export and access requirements while the current arrangement remains available.

## Ask for evidence behind search claims

If a proposal includes SEO, request the pages, content work, technical checks, and reporting it covers. Ask how you approve factual corrections and how the provider records completed work. Keep that scope separate from the website's delivery requirements.

Google's SEO Starter Guide says no method in the guide automatically ranks a website first. Use inspectable work and agreed checks when assessing a provider's SEO proposal. [Google's SEO Starter Guide](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/seo-starter-guide).

For any outcome claim, request the underlying dates, pages, measurements, and permitted evidence. Ask what changed alongside the website work. Keep your own forecast undecided when the supplied material cannot establish it.

## Bring the replacement brief into your website scope

Prepare your current website, required functions, proposed shortlist, cost sheet, and handoff questions. Include the pages to preserve and the inquiry checks you want demonstrated. Name the person who approves public content.

If your requirement is a whole website fix, bring that brief to [the real estate website page](/for/real-estate). Specify the repairs, retained tools, files, access, and acceptance checks in the written scope. Confirm any separate integration work before accepting the proposal.
