Explain the problem, your company's role, the work performed, and the result the evidence supports. Keep customer names, shipment identifiers, and private operating details out of the public brief. Ask the job owner to approve what can be described before the writer starts. ## Select a case with a usable evidence record Choose work your operations team can explain from retained records. Identify the service, period, business problem, and responsible reviewer. Avoid choosing a case only because someone remembers an impressive result. Ask for the records behind that result and the person who can check them. The FTC's advertising guidance says advertisers must have evidence supporting their claims and that advertising must be truthful and non-deceptive. Keep a factual result separate from the team's interpretation of why it occurred. ## Define the anonymous version before drafting Use a business category and broad description only when approved for publication. Remove the customer name from the title, body, metadata, image captions, and downloaded files. Have the publication reviewer check combinations of details as well as direct names. A distinctive route, event date, facility image, or document excerpt may fall outside the approved boundary. Use an original diagram of approved facts only after the reviewer checks it. ## Check a result before turning it into a headline For a numerical claim, record the measurement definition, source, period, and calculation. Have the responsible reviewer reproduce it from the source records. If the story compares two periods, confirm they measure the same thing. Record exclusions and material differences. Avoid attributing every change to your company's work without supporting evidence. When the available evidence supports a qualitative result only, describe that result precisely. Leave out a percentage, savings amount, or delivery claim that the business cannot substantiate. ## Explain the work in a useful sequence Open with the problem and the service involved. Describe the accepted scope, actions, and verified result. State the limits beside the result they qualify. Keep the case about a completed example. Avoid turning one outcome into a guarantee for every shipment or customer.
