Start by identifying the source, approved publisher, public property page, and inquiry destination. Check each step before deciding that your own website needs a new IDX integration. ListHub distinguishes syndication of a broker's own listings from IDX display of other participating brokers' listings. NAR defines IDX as permission for limited electronic display between MLS participants. These are different distribution arrangements. Use the process below to investigate your arrangement with the broker, MLS, and website maintainer. ListHub supplies the documented example. Confirm another provider's process from its own instructions. ## Map the actual distribution chain Choose an authorized listing and write down where its data starts. Record the brokerage and MLS identifiers in your private working notes. Identify the service distributing it and the destination you expect to display it. ListHub describes sourcing listing information directly from connected MLSs. Its system does not provide a dashboard for manually entering listings into that distribution feed. Prepare this investigation sheet before contacting a provider: | Step | Evidence to request | | --- | --- | | Source record | Correct listing identity, status, and approved display instructions | | Distribution service | Confirmation that the listing is present in its inventory | | Publisher selection | Confirmation that this destination is selected and permitted | | Public property page | Actual address, displayed facts, attribution, and checked time | | Website link | Final page reached through the publisher's website link | | Inquiry | Intended recipient and evidence from an authorized test | Keep the feed and the website page as separate entries. A correct source record is one checkpoint. Continue until you have inspected the public result. ## Keep publisher selection with the authorized broker ListHub's FAQ says the designated broker makes syndication selections. Request confirmation of the existing setting before proposing a change. Keep the seller's instructions in the review. Do not enable a destination to troubleshoot a missing listing without resolving permission first. Assign each proposed setting change to the authorized person. For a missing publisher display, it directs users to check inventory and publisher selection before escalating. Gather the listing identifier, supplying MLS, missing publisher, search criteria, and check time. Have the authorized administrator inspect the source and distribution records. Keep an unresolved step visible in the repair request. If the listing appears at the publisher, open its exact public page. Compare its status and approved facts with the source record. Record any difference before asking the maintainer to explain which system supplied it. For ListHub's core fields, its documentation directs corrections to the MLS. Copy the publisher's public property address and the final website destination into the brief. Ask whether the destination explains the same property. Flag a generic homepage, missing page, or obsolete provider address for review. If you are replacing the website, include these destinations in the move plan. Identify which approved property pages can remain available. Require the maintainer to explain how changing inventory affects those addresses. A publisher destination repair and an IDX replacement need separate acceptance requirements. ## Verify inquiry receipt separately from exposure Name the person or group expected to receive a question from the selected page. Arrange a marked test with the broker and recipient. Use contact details you control. Retain the submitted question, property context, time, visible confirmation, and matching received record. Compare the recipient with the agreed route. Keep a missing receipt open until the provider demonstrates delivery. Review publisher traffic reports separately from received inquiries and later conversations. Define each count before comparing it. Leave an inquiry's source unknown when the available record cannot establish it. ## Bring the verified website gap into scope Prepare the source-to-publisher map, broken destination, approved listing instructions, and inquiry test requirement.
