Inventory the firm's existing Google profiles before creating one for each attorney. Identify what each listing represents, how visitors reach the named person, and which office supports the published hours. For a family and criminal-defense practice, keep the profile decision separate from the website's practice-area structure. An attorney who handles several kinds of matters still needs an identity-based profile assessment. ## Apply Google's practitioner conditions Google includes lawyers among individual practitioners. Its dedicated-profile conditions require a public-facing role and direct contact at the verified location during stated hours. It excludes support staff and says practitioners should not create multiple profiles for their specializations. A biography on the website is insufficient evidence by itself. Do not make separate divorce and defense profiles for the same attorney merely to target both searches. ## Distinguish the shared-office cases For multiple public-facing practitioners at one location, Google describes a separate organization profile and practitioner profiles. Practitioner titles should contain the person's name rather than the organization's name. For a sole public-facing practitioner representing a branded organization, Google recommends a shared profile. Do not treat a matching street address as proof that two listings are duplicates. ## Give each website link a clear destination For the firm listing, propose a current office page with approved contact details and the attorneys who work there. For an individual listing, consider the attorney's verified biography and its actual contact arrangements. Keep admissions, current role, and professional credentials supported by the firm's source records. Check that a biography link does not imply the attorney personally answers every inquiry unless the firm can fulfill that statement. Identify the intake team when that is the approved process. ## Verify the destination after an approved correction Record each public website link and final page. Check the displayed attorney, location, and contact instructions against the approved inventory. Arrange a marked synthetic inquiry with staff if the destination includes a contact route. Confirm that the selected attorney or office context reaches the intended team. Keep that result separate from whether Google accepts a profile change. Name who reviews the listings when an attorney joins, leaves, or changes offices. Retain the approved inventory instead of recreating the decision from search results later.
