Keep the original text, relevant context, and approved public version together. Do not write a customer's praise for them. Use this checklist as an editorial review method. Have the responsible reviewer assess the actual publication and any applicable disclosure requirements. ## Preserve the original statement first Save the source message or review, its date, and the experience it describes. Keep your internal identity check separate from the name or attribution approved for public display. Ask who controls publication permission for the words, images, and accompanying project details. As a proposed publication rule, leave uncertain permission unresolved until it is confirmed. Do not create a composite customer or fill a missing sentence with generated praise. Do not present it as evidence of a current offer without that review. ## Check what an excerpt implies Compare the proposed excerpt with the complete statement. Preserve qualifications that change its meaning. Do not join separate passages into a new endorsement the person did not make. Have the project owner check any factual claim about work, timing, or result. Keep a positive opinion distinct from a measurable performance claim. If the statement needs explanation, keep that explanation next to it for review. ## Separate quotations from ratings and search markup Decide whether the page displays a quotation, a review feed, or an aggregate rating. Have the maintainer explain the source and update process for each proposed component. For a rating, record the exact population, scale, count, source, and checked date before publication.
