Compare the words, timing, and useful sound information with the approved recording. Start with one video the studio has permission to publish. Ask the project lead to confirm the project status, described work, and any information that must stay private. ## Identify the audio information viewers need W3C describes captions as synchronized text for speech and the non-speech audio needed to understand the content. Give the caption reviewer the final approved recording. Identify speakers only when their turns are confirmed. Keep uncertain names or technical terms open for the project lead. For a silent visual tour, ask an accessibility reviewer what text or description is needed for the information shown. Do not apply a narrated-video caption checklist as a complete media assessment. ## Review an automatic draft against the recording W3C says automatically generated captions are insufficient unless confirmed fully accurate. Listen through the full recording while reviewing the draft. Check project names, materials, dimensions, and negations against the speech. Give questionable factual statements to the project lead before publishing the video. Do not silently rewrite what a speaker said to make a claim stronger. Resolve an inaccurate spoken claim in the approved recording or through an explicit correction process. Require the selected implementation to keep important on-screen information understandable. Test turning captions on and off when the player supports closed captions. Check keyboard access to the player and its controls. Record the actual device and player version used for the review. ## Keep the project story outside the video Write an approved project summary on the page. Give the visitor a way to understand the studio's role and follow the inquiry route without starting playback. If you provide a transcript, check it against the same final recording. Name its version and link it clearly from the media page. Keep unapproved project addresses and private details out of the public package.
