Its current feature page lists sold data for Engage and Elite users, with availability subject to MLS restrictions. Check both before asking a builder to add sold search. [IDX Broker sold-data requirements](https://www.idxbroker.com/features/sold-data), checked 2026.10.14. When available, add the Advanced Search page and select **Sold** in its status field. For your own sold listings, use **Listings → Sold/Pending**. These are different displays with different purposes. [Using Sold Data](https://support.idxbroker.com/hc/en-us/articles/34489707545883-Using-Sold-Data). For your website brief, choose the task first: browsing neighborhood sales, reviewing your past listings, or asking about selling a home. The checks below are a recommended acceptance method. They do not predict inquiry volume. ## Separate neighborhood sold search from your sales gallery MLS sold search lets visitors search the available sold inventory. The Sold/Pending page displays properties associated with the account holder as listing agent. Some MLS rules prevent those properties from appearing alongside active listings. [Sold and Pending Listings](https://support.idxbroker.com/hc/en-us/articles/34489735120539-Sold-and-Pending-Listings). Use different page labels. A proposed neighborhood page could say “Recently sold homes in this area.” Reserve “My sold listings” for verified records of your own listing work. Ask your broker to review the wording and your role before publishing. Keep pending listings visibly separate from completed sales in your copy. Check the actual status on each card and detail page. Ask the builder to document whether a gallery includes both categories. For manually entered records, IDX Broker provides Supplemental listings. It also archives featured properties after Featured IDs are configured. These routes help display your prior listings when the MLS sold feed is unavailable or lacks older records. IDX Broker shows separate approval information for active and sold data. Read the sold column for each feed your website needs. The next checks are editorial recommendations. Use the [sold-data coverage directory](https://idxbroker.com/mls/sold) to open your MLS entry. The directory provides refresh information, applicable fees, and notes. Ask Support to confirm the available history and display conditions for your account. Record that answer in the brief. Specify the approved date range, statuses, fields, photographs, attribution, and archive treatment with your broker and provider. Keep unconfirmed items open. - [Non-disclosure states: sold prices on your agent website](/articles/sold-price-display-nondisclosure-agent-portfolio) ## Add sold search and test the resulting page With sold access confirmed, start from Advanced Search and select the appropriate sold status. IDX Broker supports saved links and widgets based on that search. Its polygon guidance uses `&idxStatus=sold` in the results string. Ask the builder to demonstrate a broad sold search before adding neighborhood boundaries or price filters. Choose a known permitted record with a closing date inside the confirmed feed history. Save the criteria and resulting URL. For a date-limited saved link, IDX Broker documents **Design → Website → Saved Links → Edit Search Criteria → Edit Link By Hand**. Its example `&amin_soldDate=14d` selects sales from the last fourteen days. This query also requires a sold-type status, whose wording can vary by MLS and property type. Compare the search page, embedded widget, and direct detail URL. Retain the exact configuration that passes. ## Diagnose missing sold listings in a defined order Start with one listing you expect to appear. Record its MLS, identifier, closing date, expected status, page address, and search criteria. Use permitted test material rather than private customer records. Check approval first. Then reduce the query to the known listing and an eligible sold status. Only add date, area, price, and property-type restrictions after the basic search passes. For date-filtered queries, IDX Broker warns that omitting a sold status causes the search to default to active listings and return no results. Verify that setting before widening the history window. IDX Broker says they may search active listings by default. Its documented customization adds both active and sold status categories. That change does not grant access to sold data absent from the account or feed. Ask your developer to review that customization against your installed page template. Require a test with a known sold identifier and address. Keep the change specific to the affected pages. For your sales gallery, inspect the record's **Display On Sold/Pending Page** setting. IDX Broker documents that selecting **No** prevents it from appearing there. If a manually added sold property is missing, check **Show Supplemental Listings** under the Sold/Pending settings in **Design → Settings → Global → Your Properties**. Send Support the reproduction details if these checks leave the record missing. Ask whether the feed supplies that record and whether the requested display is permitted. Keep “not returned by this search” separate from “no sale occurred.” ## Use an archive or supplemental gallery when appropriate Without sold and pending data from the MLS, IDX Broker cannot identify an inactive listing's final status. It initially places those records on the Off Market page. [Sold/Pending status handling](https://support.idxbroker.com/hc/en-us/articles/34489735120539-Sold-and-Pending-Listings). Under **Listings → Off Market**, review the verified status, sold date, and sold price. Archiving starts when Featured IDs are added, so it does not recover listings removed before that date. Assign someone to review those records. Confirm the closing information and permission to display each item before changing its public status. An inactive listing needs a verified outcome. For an older permitted listing, the documented route is **Listings → Supplemental → Create New**. Choose the MLS and property type, enter verified details, and select **Sold**. Label the finished page according to what it contains. A selected gallery of your prior listings should not claim complete neighborhood transaction coverage. ## Connect the sold page to a useful buyer or seller question Write the page around a visitor task. For neighborhood sales, propose a route to ask about current options or discuss a home's selling context. For your verified listing history, connect the gallery to your seller-service explanation. Use contact wording that matches the status. On a sold property, “Ask about similar homes” is a proposed alternative to a showing request. On a seller page, invite a question about the owner's home. These are editorial recommendations, not tested conversion claims. Agree on these checks with your website provider before handoff: | Visitor task | Acceptance evidence to retain | | --- | --- | | Browse neighborhood sales | Correct area, sold status, and confirmed date range on the returned records. | | Review your listing history | Verified agent role, accurate status labels, and approved display material. | | Ask about similar homes | A marked test message received with the correct property reference and reply details. | | Ask about selling | A separate test received at the agreed destination with the seller's question. | | Use either route on a phone | Readable details and usable contact controls without an administrator login. | | Reach an empty search | Clear wording and a working question route, without claiming the area has no sales. | Arrange test submissions with the receiving account owner. Check the actual received message, not only the website confirmation. Record missing fields and failed delivery for repair. ## Put the sold-data requirements into the website scope The sold-data worksheet distinguishes MLS search results from your own transaction gallery.
