Inspect the received message's identity, contact details, reply route, and linked property page before accepting a branding repair. IDX Broker says property-update emails do not inherit the website's Global Wrapper. Its guide describes an email-specific Page Wrapper for Property Updates and a separate property-update subheader. A website redesign should therefore include an explicit decision about these messages. Ask the provider which account and agent settings control the actual email you receive. ## Collect a current message before proposing changes Use a recent message supplied with permission or arrange a controlled sample. Keep private recipient information out of the repair brief. Record the visible sender, subject, branding, contact information, and property-link destination. Identify the account and participating agent involved. Compare the message with the approved brokerage identity. Name the specific fault, such as an old logo, wrong phone number, or missing reply route. Do not infer the email's configuration from how the property page looks. Keep the message and website observations as separate evidence. ## Identify the email-specific design Ask the administrator to inspect the Property Updates page wrapper and any corresponding subheader. Record which elements supply the surrounding design. Prepare approved replacement wording and assets. Have the responsible broker review identity and contact presentation for the applicable advertising requirements. Keep the current configuration available for restoration before an authorized change. Its website work should have its own acceptance result. ## Check account details and agent controls IDX Broker says footer contact information comes from `Account > Details`. For agents on Office accounts, its guide also describes property-update options in `Bio > Property Update`, including copies of messages to their leads. Have the administrator compare these settings with the message being inspected. Ask which setting takes precedence if the account and agent details disagree. Leave that precedence UNRESOLVED until demonstrated for the installation. Avoid applying one person's observed result to the entire roster. Review a representative agent message and a general office message when both are used. Name the intended contact recipient for each. ## Verify the reply route The vendor guide provides a reply-to address setting. It says leaving the field blank removes the option for clients to reply to these update emails.
