After the vendor processes it, check the featured listings and each participating agent's public identity. IDX Broker requires brokerage-change requests through its MLS Team. Its guide says customers cannot complete these changes themselves through the account portal. This brief focuses on a brokerage change. Keep a simultaneous domain move as a separately identified work item. ## Confirm the request and its approval dependencies List the current brokerage, intended brokerage, account owner, and every connected MLS. Ask the authorized owner to confirm the effective change and the vendor contact handling it. IDX Broker says MLS requirements vary. Some boards require an updated agreement; others require notification. For multiple MLS feeds, all boards must approve before the change is processed. Public pages need the approved current brokerage identity. ## Build an expected-listings worksheet Choose known active listings that the responsible person approves for testing. Record their MLS, listing identifier, office, and associated agent. Avoid using an old screenshot as the sole expected result. Record which feed, person, or page differs from the approved worksheet. ## Recheck Featured IDs after processing IDX Broker says it applies the new Office ID during a brokerage change. It directs customers to review `Account > Featured IDs`, then inspect `Listings > Active`. Have an authorized administrator compare those controls with the worksheet. Ask them to record missing agents, unexpected agents, and missing approved listings separately. If the selection is wrong or incomplete, ask vendor support to resolve it. Avoid changing unrelated website filters to conceal an identity-mapping problem. Repeat the check on public modules that display featured inventory. Keep the observed page address beside the affected listing identifier. ## Verify each multi-user agent mapping For multi-user accounts, the vendor directs the administrator to `Account > Users > Agents`, edit the agent, and select the correct MLS Agent ID on the MLS tab. Ask the provider which links and surrounding IDX design need attention.
