Confirm the property, requested dates, guest count, and next step before accepting a new booking button. Define how far the website check goes. Following a link into the reservation system and completing a booking require different tests. Agree the boundary with the hotel owner before anyone creates a reservation. ## Start with the hotel's approved destinations Have the person responsible for reservations supply the current booking destination for each property. Record who maintains the website link and who supports the reservation system. Check homepage buttons, room pages, offers, the phone navigation, and the footer. Save the starting page and final destination for each route. If your brand operates several properties, verify the property selected at the destination. Require evidence before promising that a room, rate, or guest count will be preselected. Keep a requested date distinct from available inventory. Do not let decorative website copy imply that the hotel has accepted a reservation. ## Make the controls understandable Use a label that describes the next action. Distinguish checking availability from sending a question to staff. State when the visitor continues to the hotel's approved outside booking system. Google generally extracts links reliably from anchor elements with an href attribute. Use ordinary links for room navigation and linked booking destinations where the design calls for navigation. Include the failure behavior the provider supports. Check whether selected values remain correct after the handoff. Record any value the visitor must enter again. Avoid describing that behavior as repaired until the repeated test supports the claim.
