Keep a requested start date separate from a confirmed project commitment. Start from the capacity information you can maintain. If you cannot keep a public date current, invite a timing inquiry instead. Avoid filling the page with an invented next opening or an unsupported urgency claim. The FTC says advertising must be truthful and supported by evidence. Use that standard when reviewing availability messages and implied booking promises. Approve that statement against your current work record. Define who updates it and what change triggers a review. Keep your internal customer schedule private. The public page needs an accurate availability statement, rather than the details of other engagements. If you show a date, describe what the date means. A period for initial discussions and a period for delivery are separate commitments. Have the person responsible for your schedule approve the distinction. ## Explain what a waitlist does Write down whether joining the list creates a request for consideration, a notification preference, or another bounded next step. Keep that meaning consistent in the page, submit label, and confirmation. Avoid letting an older automated response announce capacity you have withdrawn. ## Accept the inquiry route before relying on it Arrange a marked test with your receiving destination. Submit a preferred-date request and an uncertain-date request using details you control. Confirm that both arrive with their original timing information. Inspect the page on a phone.
