Obtain the approved current relationship summary and the reviewer's placement instructions before changing links. Start by asking the practice's compliance reviewer whether Form CRS applies to the firm. A website brief should record that decision and the relevant entity. ## Use the current approved relationship summary General Instruction 10.A of Form CRS requires prominent posting of the current relationship summary on a public website, if one exists. Have the reviewer identify the approved file and its effective version. Ask the maintainer to compare that file with the document the public link opens. Keep the website check distinct from filing and delivery procedures. Let the reviewer define those obligations and confirm which work belongs in this website scope. ## Inventory every public entry point List the homepage, footer, disclosure page, service pages, and other locations carrying the summary link. Record the actual destination beside each placement. Give the builder the resulting website list rather than asking the builder to decide regulatory scope. ## Test access on the actual page Ask the maintainer to demonstrate each approved placement on a phone and computer. Check that the label is readable and the destination is accessible without an account. Open the file from a fresh session. Compare the firm identity and document version. Test keyboard access and report any unusable viewer controls. If the document cannot be opened, keep that failure visible in the acceptance record. Do not substitute a marketing summary for the approved document. ## Define what happens on replacement Give the maintainer one approved replacement file and a list of affected links. Specify how obsolete public copies should be handled after the reviewer decides. Retest the destinations after replacement.
