Keep the original comment and proposed public excerpt together. A positive review is a starting record for that decision. Do not assume its public availability authorizes every new placement or a rewritten account of the matter. ## Check authority before selecting a quotation ABA Model Rule 1.6 limits disclosure of information about representation, subject to its stated authorizations and exceptions. Have counsel apply the jurisdiction's actual rules and decide what permission the proposed publication requires.
