List the catalog, product options, fulfillment rules, checkout requirements, and files or accounts you must receive at handoff. Ask the provider to demonstrate the agreed process in a test environment before release. Keep decisions about live charges and payment-account changes with the business owner. ## Inventory the catalog before choosing a design Provide an approved sample of your product data. Include the product name, identifier, description, options, photographs, available quantities where applicable, and current selling conditions. Separate supplied facts from fields that need work. Define the behavior when an option cannot be purchased. If structured data is included, require it to match the product page. Ask for actual validation results for the agreed product templates. ## Write the checkout test cases Have the owner approve the selling rules before turning them into tests. Use test payment methods supplied for the installed payment system. Do not use a real purchase merely to show that a button works. Proposed cases include: - An available item with a supported delivery destination. - A product option that changes the order details. - An unavailable item or unsupported destination. - An incomplete required checkout answer. - A declined test payment. - An order confirmation and matching office record. Add cases for pickup, discounts, cancellation, or returns only when those features belong to the agreed scope. Require the provider to identify the rules it has not tested. ## Retain the operating instructions Specify who owns the domain, store account, catalog files, and payment relationship.
