It warns that customization is lost and the KW site domain is forfeited. Before you act, read your own independent contractor agreement and any team agreement, and confirm the terms with your brokerage in writing. Your agreement can differ from the published documentation cited here. Before confirming shutdown, save the content you may reuse and prepare the website address you intend to publish afterward. Test where its seller and buyer inquiries arrive. Treat the sequence below as a recommended handoff plan. If you have already left and cannot access Command, use the support route below. Leave its shutdown date unresolved until you receive that answer. ## Save the material you need before confirming KW says permanent deactivation removes custom pages and landing pages. Preserve the material you have permission to retain while you still have access. Make a handoff folder with approved biography text, seller-service copy, buyer guidance, local articles, and reusable image files. Record the current page addresses beside their intended replacements. Ask the account owner or brokerage to resolve reuse permissions. Keep unresolved images, listing material, and platform components out of the replacement brief. Request editable originals where available. Use screenshots to document layout and wording that needs review. For each retained page, name the visitor's next action. A seller-service page may need a selling question form. A buyer page may need a property question route. Specify the receiving destination and the person responsible for replying. Keep contact retention as a separate task. It permits forwarding an outside domain into the KW site. These are different directions. Do not promise that visitors to your retired KW address will reach the replacement automatically. Inventory where you published that address. Check your email signature, social profiles, business listings, downloadable material, and printed pieces. Replace the links you control with the intended new address. If you use a separate custom domain, inspect its registrar account and forwarding destination. Ask the domain maintainer to document how it currently reaches the KW site. Confirm access, renewal responsibility, and the change needed to send visitors to your replacement. Keep the custom-domain change separate from KW site deactivation. Require a written plan for each. Sign in at `https://agent.kw.com` with your KW credentials. 2. Check the account selected at the top right of Command. 3. Open the **Websites Applet** on the left. 4. Choose **Manage Settings**. 5. Open **Team Subdomain**. 6. Below the subdomain, choose **Deactivate Site**. 7. Read the warning, verify the account and address, then confirm only the intended shutdown.
