Publish a contractor project budget only when you can explain its source, scope, date, and limits. If those details are missing, describe the estimating process while you assemble a supportable example. Choose the purpose first. A completed-project cost, a current budget range, and a project minimum answer different questions. Give each published figure its own evidence and owner. Is the visitor assessing project fit, understanding a completed example, or preparing for an estimate?
