Save what the visitor submitted, what the form recorded, and what the recipient received. Leave the cause unconfirmed until the evidence identifies it. Start with a controlled test arranged with the office. Use a short project question and reply details you control. Keep real customer messages out of screenshots and shared diagnostics. The plan below separates observations so your maintainer can investigate the correct step. ## Record the visitor and office observations Save the page address, test time, selected service, original question, and displayed result. Ask the recipient to look for that exact message at the intended destination. Require the provider-supported configuration and an observed reply test. Do not assume that displaying a visitor's address establishes a supported sender configuration. Include the requested work and broad project location in the received message according to the approved form design. The recipient should not need to infer which request produced the notification. ## Check errors without claiming success W3C recommends clear feedback about submission success or failure and understandable correction instructions. Require the page to preserve an understandable next step. Test a missing required reply address separately from a mail-provider failure. Keep retention and staff access with the approved business process. ## Recheck the repaired route Repeat the original marked test after the change. Compare the same fields, intended recipient, delivery evidence, and reply result. Leave any unobserved step open. Test separate service routes if they use different recipients.
