If that route is unavailable, the terms permit written notice to `help@idxbroker.com`. A telephone call alone does not complete cancellation. [IDX Broker terms, Section 16](https://www.idxbroker.com/terms). For an account managed and billed through a Developer Partner, IDX Broker directs you to have that partner cancel it. [IDX Broker cancellation instructions](https://support.idxbroker.com/hc/en-us/articles/34489721645851-Cancel-Your-Account). Before choosing a cutoff, export the contacts you may retain and plan the website paths that depend on IDX. Obtain written confirmation of the deadline and service end. IDX Broker's public pages give different notice periods, so avoid planning around one unconfirmed deadline. The website sequence below is a recommended handoff method. Use it to preserve an intentional route for a seller's question or a buyer's property inquiry. ## Confirm the notice period before the next bill These public pages were checked on October 13, 2026. Include your next billing date and requested service end. Request a reply that reconciles the notice requirement with the final charge. Submit early enough to resolve a disagreement before renewal. The terms say a properly cancelled account ends at the current billing-cycle boundary. They state no cancellation fee and no refund for unused service. Non-use does not constitute cancellation. Check the plan and any additional services on your order. Ask whether feed charges or outside subscriptions require separate action. ## Identify who controls the subscription and the website Collect the account identifier, billing arrangement, website domain, and current invoice. Name the person authorized to request cancellation. Ask the provider to confirm any account you cannot identify. IDX Broker's developer documentation says cancelling a developer's service also requires cancelling the IDX Broker account. Partners can cancel accounts through their Partner Account. Keep website hosting, domain registration, email, and IDX cancellation as separate handoff items. Confirm who maintains each after the cutoff. If hosting or the entire website belongs to the arrangement being ended, prepare the replacement before agreeing to shutdown. If only listing search is ending, identify the affected pages and controls. Establish the scope from your account and site rather than assuming every IDX Broker installation works alike. ## Export permitted contacts while you retain access IDX Broker documents a CSV export through **Leads → Export**. Choose **Create Export**, select the available fields, refine which leads to include, then export and save the file. Use approved business storage. Keep buyer and seller records out of a public website brief. Open the downloaded file before access ends. Compare the selected records with the account view. Inspect contact details, assignment, notes, consent information, and exclusions wherever those fields are available. Ask Support about anything absent from the file. Check saved-search definitions, saved properties, browsing history, and alert settings separately. Require the receiving system's administrator to confirm what can be imported and what must be recreated. Keep a reviewed field map with the handoff. Test a small authorized sample before accepting a larger import. Set a final export time with the account owner, close to the confirmed cutoff. IDX Broker's terms reserve the right to delete data from former accounts without notice. Retain the permitted export before cancellation takes effect. Include links from navigation and local-area pages. Record the actual URL and intended visitor task for each. Use this planning table to specify the replacement. These are proposed checks, not observed failures on your website. | Current path | Decision to document | | --- | --- | | Property search | Replace with approved search or remove the search promise and control. | | Property detail or showing request | Retain an authorized property reference and a working way to ask about it. | | Seller-service page | Keep your representation explanation and test its own contact route. | | Saved search or property alert | Confirm shutdown and any replacement with the responsible provider. | | Local page containing a listing widget | Replace or remove the widget, then inspect the surrounding page. | | Website login or registration link | Explain the replacement access route or remove the retired link. | Where addresses change, Google recommends mapping old URLs to corresponding new destinations. It advises against redirecting many unrelated URLs to a single irrelevant page. [Google's site-move guidance](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/site-move-with-url-changes). Ask the maintainer which redirects they can control after cancellation. Specify a relevant replacement where one exists. Resolve the handling of retired pages with no equivalent answer. Request confirmation before retaining listing material from the old feed. Have the broker and replacement provider identify the permitted display. Identify who replies and which page or property reference should arrive with the question. Submit clearly labeled tests using details you control. Arrange them with the recipient first.
