Shortlist Calendly when its conflict-calendar controls and booking-page options fit your process. Shortlist Acuity when appointment-specific intake forms and its scheduling limits fit better. These are selection criteria, not a finding that either tool produces more inquiries. The comparison below uses dated vendor documentation. Start with separate seller and buyer requirements. Name the agent conducting each meeting, the purpose, the approved meeting format, and the receiving calendar. Its documentation says connected calendars apply across event types. Individual event types cannot each have their own designated receiving calendar. The documented connection limit is one calendar on Free and up to six per user on paid plans. You must enable outside events to block time. A one-way sync sends appointments outward without receiving outside events that could block availability. Ask the account owner to demonstrate the calendar arrangement you need. Use an agreed test event in a calendar that should block a consultation. Inspect the public booking page, then check where an allowed booking arrives. Repeat for each calendar whose busy time must protect your availability. For separate seller and buyer appointments, write down whether the same person and receiving calendar handle both. Treat that as a requirement to verify. Do not infer separate receiving calendars from separate buttons on your website. ## Match the website route to the meeting Choose the booking destination before choosing its visual treatment. On a buyer page, ask the builder to present the approved buyer consultation. On a seller page, specify the corresponding seller meeting. For a buyer, consider broad timing and an optional question. For a seller, consider the intended selling period and the issue they want to discuss. Approve the wording with the meeting owner. Calendly supports required and optional invitee questions. It includes answers in notifications by default, but Standard and higher plans can change that setting to exclude them. Its rescheduling guidance specifically documents Google Calendar changes with automatic sync enabled. Keep those capabilities distinct when writing instructions for the agent.
