Define the search, recipient, message settings, and stop control. Test that complete path with an account you control. Compare the registration fields with the search criteria needed for a useful alert. Ask which property alerts the person wants. Keep an unclear neighborhood name in a review queue until someone resolves it. ## Start with the search your visitor requested. Give the signup action a clear purpose. Explain the area, property filters, and type of update being requested. Keep a general property question separate from an alert subscription. Prepare the proposed search before choosing an integration. Record the location, property types, price limits, and any unresolved criteria. Ask the visitor to confirm an interpretation when their request could describe several places. Use the website's existing saved-search route when it meets that need. Record the requested search, account state, and update setting separately. Treat those as separate checks. IDX Broker's lead overview says an Unverified account does not receive saved-search or saved-property updates. It also distinguishes No Account, Disabled, and Unsubscribed states. Confirm the applicable state before investigating delivery. Ask the provider to explain the intended verification route. Do not change a person's account state merely to make a test appear successful. ## Specify the connection before buying it. If native signup leaves a gap, give the developer a bounded integration brief. Name the source event and the destination action. Ask for documentation proving that the proposed connection supports that action on your plan. Check the message separately from the website page. Review the sender identity, contact details, property destination, and reply route. Ask the provider which settings control each one. Follow its property link in the agreed test environment. Send a test reply and confirm who receives it. Keep message receipt, link behavior, and reply receipt as separate results. ## Test the cases that ordinary signup misses. Use a controlled account and a search with understood criteria. Record the initial request, resulting search, account state, and received message where applicable. Repeat the request to inspect duplicate handling. Submit an incomplete place name and confirm it reaches review. Test the stop control and check the resulting state. Ask the provider how to verify that no further updates are scheduled. An immediate email may be unavailable when no matching listing event exists. Record that limit and agree on another documented test.
