# Newsletter archive: a public edition library for your agent website

A newsletter archive gives visitors a place to read previous editions. MailerLite documents an archive block that displays past email campaigns on a landing page. [MailerLite's archive guide, checked 2026.10.14](https://www.mailerlite.com/help/newsletter-archive).

For your real estate website, build a dated library of editions approved for public reading. Put the reporting period beside each market update. Give readers a route from that edition to your seller or buyer services, with newsletter enrollment kept optional.

Use the proposed brief below with your website provider and separate email administrator. It covers the public library and its inquiry destinations. Approve the actual pages and responsibilities before implementation.

## Choose the public location and the maintained record

Specify an archive index on your own website. Link it from the site's reading or resources menu. Require each entry to show the edition title, publication date, covered area, and a short description of its subject.

Choose which arrangement you can maintain:

| Proposed arrangement | Requirement to put in the brief |
| --- | --- |
| Own website index and edition pages | Keep approved public text, sources, dates, and service links in the website's content files |
| Own website index linking to vendor-hosted editions | Identify the external destination and keep a separate approved copy for possible reconstruction |
| Vendor archive linked from your website | Record account ownership, the selected editions, and the return route to your website services |

Choose the first arrangement when preserving the public library in your site files is a requirement. For a vendor destination, ask the administrator to demonstrate the public view and confirm the account's current capabilities.

Separate the public library from the private campaign record. Keep recipient lists, delivery reports, and individual responses in the business's controlled systems. Put only approved edition content on the public website.

## Select editions deliberately in MailerLite

If you already use MailerLite, its current instructions place the archive block in the landing-page editor under Sections, then Interactive. Add the block to the page. [MailerLite's placement instructions, checked 2026.10.14](https://www.mailerlite.com/help/newsletter-archive).

The block's settings offer Auto and Manual selection. Auto loads the most recently sent campaigns; Manual lets you choose sent campaigns. The guide also documents column, row, and page settings. [MailerLite's selection and layout instructions, checked 2026.10.14](https://www.mailerlite.com/help/newsletter-archive).

For a public agent archive, request Manual selection and approve each included edition. Inspect the rendered campaign before adding it. Recheck the published view after changing the selection.

MailerLite documents a limit of fifty displayed newsletters. Additional pages depend on having enough editions to fill the configured layout. [MailerLite's display limits, checked 2026.10.14](https://www.mailerlite.com/help/newsletter-archive).

If you need a longer history, specify which editions remain in the website library and how the administrator preserves them. Ask for a demonstration with your actual account before relying on a proposed export or migration method.

This provider option needs its own account and maintenance decision. Put the chosen connection in the written website scope.

## Approve a public version of each edition

Use an edition worksheet before publication. These are proposed fields, not claims about your existing newsletter:

| Field | Material to supply and approve |
| --- | --- |
| Identity | Agent or team name, brokerage identification, and approved public contact details |
| Edition | Title, original publication date, subject, and area covered |
| Market evidence | Reporting period, publisher, source URL, permitted excerpt, and metric definition |
| Public content | Reviewed text, approved media, and source credits |
| Service destination | The current seller or buyer page that answers the next representation question |
| Maintenance | Person responsible for corrections, link checks, and retirement decisions |

Review the version a visitor will see without signing in. Remove recipient names, email addresses, personal greetings, private transaction details, and contact-specific account links from the public copy. Replace them with approved public wording and destinations.

Check every photo, quote, listing reference, and attachment with the person authorized to approve its use. Keep an unresolved item out of the public edition until that review finishes.

Where a vendor renders the original campaign, ask the administrator to inspect personalization and account controls in that public rendering. If a safe public version is unavailable, publish a separately reviewed website edition instead.

Record intentional differences between the email and website versions. Preserve the approved source and publication decision privately. Give public corrections a visible date and explanation.

## Preserve the reporting period when an edition gets older

Label each market edition with the period its figures describe. Keep that period visible in the index and on the edition page. Distinguish it from the date you last checked the page.

Retain the original source links and definitions beside any approved market figures. When publishing a later report, give it a separate edition entry. Do not relabel the older edition as this month's report.

For an older report, add a clearly labeled link to the latest available edition. Keep the historical text identifiable as historical. Ask the agent to approve any explanation of changed market conditions against the source evidence.

Recheck listing features and service invitations separately. Replace active-showing language when the agent confirms it is outdated. Retain listing material only when its continued publication is approved.

Agree a correction and removal process. If an edition must be withdrawn, record why and choose the destination for existing links. Require the website provider to test that treatment before closing the task.

## Connect an edition to a representation question

Put the relevant service route beside the edition's main answer. For a seller-preparation edition, link to the page explaining your listing service. For buyer guidance, link to the page describing buyer representation.

Make the link label describe the next page. Keep the edition readable without a newsletter signup. Let someone who declines enrollment ask a buying or selling question directly.

In the inquiry brief, specify the reply details, question, and edition context the receiving person needs. Require the public form and received record to retain the correct edition reference. Keep private contact information out of page addresses.

Assign optional newsletter signup to the email administrator. Agree its wording and permission handling separately from the representation request.

An archive also leaves commercial-email review with the sender. CAN-SPAM covers commercial messages, including email promoting commercial website content. The FTC guide requires accurate headers and subjects, advertising identification, a valid postal address, and an opt-out route. [FTC's CAN-SPAM guide, checked 2026.10.14](https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business).

The guide requires the opt-out mechanism to work for at least thirty days after sending and requests to be honored within ten business days. [FTC's opt-out requirements, checked 2026.10.14](https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business).

Have the responsible business review the finished email against that guide. Keep public-edition approval and campaign approval as separate decisions.

## Accept the archive against public pages and received inquiries

Agree these checks with the website provider and receiving person. Use controlled contact details and label submissions as tests.

| Proposed check | Evidence to require |
| --- | --- |
| Index on phone and desktop | Readable edition titles, dates, areas, and working edition links |
| Public edition opened without login | Correct approved content with no recipient-specific information or controls |
| Older market report | Original reporting period, source links, and a labeled route to the latest edition |
| Selected vendor editions | Public entries match the approved selection, including an excluded edition staying absent |
| Seller route | Correct service page and a received inquiry retaining the seller question and edition context |
| Buyer route | Correct service page and a received inquiry retaining the buyer question and edition context |
| Newsletter enrollment declined | Reading and representation inquiries remain usable |
| Handoff | Approved edition files or preservation copies match the agreed inventory |

Record the page addresses, test date, expected result, observed result, and person responsible for any repair. Require the receiving person to compare the submitted question and reply details with the received record.

Repeat affected checks after adding an edition, changing a destination, or replacing an inquiry recipient. Keep delivery receipts private. These are acceptance tests to arrange for your website; they are not results already obtained.

## Put the archive requirements in the website brief

Your archive inventory identifies approved editions, public pages, and the separate email administrator. Include that inventory at [whole website fix: newsletter archives](/for/real-estate). The whole website fix hands over an editing guide for the website.
