Keep a written record of how the business runs. Load the current file into ChatGPT or any AI tool at the start of the job. [Scope your business context](/work#send-your-brief) ## Write down the rules the work depends on. Using ChatGPT for small business work starts with current business facts. A useful record explains what you sell and how a quote is approved. It also states how you answer customer questions. Scale With Search turns that knowledge into readable files your business owns. A file does not guarantee that the tool follows every instruction. Test a harmless draft against the current record before relying on the output. ## Check the record with a fresh job. Load the approved context file into a new ChatGPT conversation. Ask it to draft a reply about a service you exclude. Check whether it follows the exclusion. Then change a harmless rule in the source file. Load the revised file into a fresh conversation. Check that the new draft uses the revised rule. If the file is absent or the answer cannot be checked against it, stop the job. A remembered detail does not replace the source. Keep the current business record outside chat history.
